Oct. 12, 2024.
We close on our flagship property next week on October 17, 2024. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. Now for the fun part; land cleanup and creating access and maintenance trails.
You can tour this property beginning March of 2025. What is there to see? Wildlife, trees, glow-in-the-dark fungi, Spanish carvings, and much more. Learn about its fantastic history involving buried treasure and the KGC. See artifacts from the Archaic-Indians that once lived on this property over 8,000 years ago. Burial sites may be observed from a short distance.
We are partnering with The Blue; Zipline and Farm to organize tour reservations. You can visit their site to book your tour reservations. Tour proceeds to benefit The Ouachita Land Conservation Fund and to help save additional lands. Visit blueziplinefarm.com
For those who are not afraid to get their hands dirty, we will have volunteer days to help remove trash, trim undergrowth, and mark trails. Dates will be posted soon. For volunteers who wish to camp, a neighboring property will be available that offers showers, electricity, and potable water.
